How To Live a

Healthy Foot Life

8 out of 10 Americans have experienced a foot problem according to a 2014 survey, everything from ingrown nails to chronic foot pain. To avoid being one of the 8-10 you should do the following. Number one be sure you are in the proper shoe for the activity you perform. Check your feet daily for any signs of change, such as a change in foot shape, foot sensations such as tingling, numbness, pain etc, changes in color, pain or discomfort during activity, any sores, calluses or blisters that do not heal. You should also exercise regularly, this will help increase circulation to your feet, prevent cramps and keep your muscles in good shape.

If you are experiencing pain do not wait too long to have them checked by a board-certified podiatric surgeon, so the pain does not become chronic. The healthier you keep your feet, the longer they will be able to support your healthy and active lifestyle.
